• Tupelo Public School District is searching for: 

    Elementary Principal (6th GRADE)
    Qualifications: AA certificate, Master’s Degree. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
    Job Goal: Supervise staff members designated by the Board or the Superintendent. Provide instructional leadership in a manner that inspires others to higher levels of performance. Establish and maintain an effective learning climate in the school. Pursue innovative and creative ideas that enhance the learning environment of students and staff. Keep superintendent informed of the school’s activities and problems. Prepare and administer the school budget and supervise school finances including student activity fund. Supervise the maintenance of all required building records and reports.
    Preferred: Successful experience as an Elementary Principal or Assistant Principal

    Director of Human Resources
    Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in related field. Certified by Human Resource Certification Institute with either PHR or SPHR. At least 3 years’ in human resource management with successful job related experience. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
    Job Goal: To lead the operation of human resources services in such a way as to provide maximum professional satisfaction for school district personnel, to promote the overall effectiveness of the school system, and maximize the educational opportunities and benefits available to each individual child.
